Our Approach to Refunds
Look, learning back-end development takes commitment. We get that sometimes circumstances change or a course isn't the right fit. That's why we've built a straightforward refund policy.
We want students who are genuinely ready to dive into server-side programming, database architecture, and API development. If you realize within the first portion of a course that it's not meeting your needs, we'll work with you.
When You Can Request a Refund
Early Course Stage
You can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase if you've completed less than 25% of the course material. This gives you enough time to explore the content structure and teaching approach.
Technical Issues
If persistent technical problems prevent you from accessing course content and our support team can't resolve them within 7 business days, you're eligible for a full refund regardless of completion percentage.
Course Cancellation
Should we cancel or discontinue a course before you've completed it, you'll receive a prorated refund for the unused portion. We'll notify you at least 30 days before any planned course discontinuation.

Submit Your Request
Email contact@sparkpulsedrive.com with your order number, purchase date, and reason for the refund. Be specific about what didn't work for you — this feedback helps us improve our courses.
Initial Review
Our team reviews your request within 2 business days. We'll check your course progress, purchase date, and verify eligibility criteria. You'll receive an email confirming receipt and expected timeline.
Decision Notification
Within 5 business days, you'll get our decision. If approved, we'll explain the refund amount and method. If we need additional information or your request doesn't meet criteria, we'll explain why and discuss alternatives.
Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 7-10 business days. The exact timeline depends on your payment method and financial institution. Credit card refunds typically appear faster than bank transfers.
Common Refund Scenarios
Course Doesn't Match Description
If the course content significantly differs from what was advertised on our website, you're eligible for a refund even if you've progressed beyond 25% completion. We take accuracy in course descriptions seriously.
You'll need to provide specific examples of discrepancies between the advertised curriculum and actual content. Screenshots or detailed notes help expedite the review process.
Medical or Personal Emergency
Life happens. If a medical issue, family emergency, or unexpected personal situation prevents you from continuing your studies, contact us. We evaluate these situations individually.
While we may request documentation for emergency-based refunds, we handle these conversations with sensitivity and respect for your privacy.
Duplicate Purchase
Accidentally enrolled in the same course twice? We'll refund the duplicate immediately, no questions asked. Just send us both transaction IDs.
Bundle or Package Purchases
For bundled course packages, refunds are calculated based on individual course values. If you've completed courses within the bundle, those are deducted from the refund amount at their standalone prices.
- Bundle purchased less than 14 days ago with minimal progress: full refund possible
- Partial bundle completion: prorated refund for unstarted courses only
- Individual course issues within bundle: we may offer course substitution instead of refund
Payment Methods and Processing Times
Credit Cards
Refunds to credit cards typically appear within 5-7 business days after processing. Your card issuer may take an additional 2-3 days to post the credit to your account.
Bank Transfers
Direct bank transfer refunds take 7-10 business days for domestic accounts in Taiwan. International transfers may require up to 15 business days depending on correspondent banking relationships.
Digital Wallets
PayPal and other digital wallet refunds process within 3-5 business days. The funds should appear in your wallet almost immediately once we initiate the transfer.
Important Things to Know
- Refund requests made after 30 days from purchase date require manager approval and are evaluated case-by-case based on circumstances
- Course completion above 50% typically disqualifies automatic refund eligibility unless technical issues are documented
- Downloaded course materials, certificates, or completed projects cannot be retained after refund approval
- Your account access will be revoked once the refund is processed — backup any notes or personal work before requesting a refund
- Promotional or discounted course purchases are refunded at the amount actually paid, not the regular course price
- Payment processing fees are non-refundable for international transactions where applicable
- Course gift purchases follow different refund guidelines — contact us for specific gift refund policies
